Bob Kinder Update: Potential 5 Star 2025 recruit plus elimination of the Letter of Intent

Stanford currently has 4 commits for the Class of 2025 and there is one important additional 5 star player being recruited.   

Current Verbal Commits:  5-Star Hailee Swain, 4-Star Carly Amborn, 4-Star Alexandra Eschmeyer and 4-Star Nora Ezikwe

Potential 5th Recruit: Currently Stanford is recruiting one player that I’m aware of and that is Lara Somfai ranked #23 on the 2025 HoopGurlz rankings.  Lara is a 6-4 Post, an Australian and a national team player who is going to school in Florida at the IMG academy.   She recently visited Stanford and is considering UConn, Duke and Stanford.

ESPN - NCAA approves elimination of the Letter of intent - "Established in 1964, the NLI program has existed as the formal, binding agreement between prospective athletes and college programs for the past 60 years. The NLI will be replaced by a new financial aid agreement that will provide many of the same core functions as the NLI and will likely be tied to a contract related to an impending revenue-sharing model across college athletics."  Click above to read the full ESPN article
